Bam!!

Winter blahs got you down? Life too bleak and gray, sky the color of the dirty piles of snow on the side of the road? Take THIS!! Bursting into your life with all the subtlety of a sound effect in a vintage “Plastic Man” comic, it’s a magical combination of felt, tempera paint, pony beads, glitter, and just a little bit of crazy to scare your frowny face into meek submission. Yes, this is going to absolutely spray happiness all over you, and give you a neon orange towel to mop up. Here it is. Deal.

Makes me just want to step back and shout “huzzah!” or maybe “My eyes!!” Concussive yellow waves of radiant light blasting forth, struggling past…uh…either the sun’s corona, or a plate of sliced carrots, yams, and pepperoni. Their brilliant energy is transformed by some matrix into tiny little stars, because this is what happiness looks like. If you had a really bad case of synesthesia, this is what the “Bob the Builder” theme song looks like.

Oh god! It’s coming again!

Wheee! It’s like the Fourth of July threw up on my mother’s least favorite summer dresses. I really love this piece. Unfortunately, one of my good friends is epileptic, so we thought better of the thing. One more, though, before it goes away!

Whaboom!! Cheerfulness is finally available in a wall-hanging!

This would fit in perfectly in my record room if I would just get around to painting it orange and green! It’s inspirational what a bit of felt, beads, glitter and a a glue gun can get up to when they’re in a master crafter’s hands.

Don’t glue felt to your LPs, though, it will reduce the play quality of your phonograph substantially. Unless you’re playing Little Marcy, in which case, it’ll only improve your experience.

I’ve been reading through your posts today and laughing my ass off, but I have to say that this one is the most hilarious thing I’ve seen so far. That is truly spectacular and awesome and blinding. And now I’m really wondering what the hell the thought process went in to making that piece of tangible WTFery.
