You can’t judge a book by its cover. You probably shouldn’t judge this book at all. It’d just be rude.
…absolutely. there wasn’t a lot of content in this book, but what there was, amazing. Just the cover alone was remarkable. Frida Khalo, strange and benevolent, a priest about to give a benediction, blessing all who open her book with just a bit of the strange.
I just wish there was more.
It was beautiful, and it was a mystery, though I could have done with a little more content in my mystery, a few more clues. The opening page was a complete tease. Frida beckoned me, seduced me into her world of mystery, but inside, nothing. Page after page except…
except this.
Just a bunny. The mystery is a rabbit, possibly a rabbit in a pair of wooden dutch clogs. The monster at the end of the book eats carrots.
