Or possibly pig-cows.
“Dark master! I give this pig to you! Take him, so that you may look favorably upon me and restore my head!”
These were not, as far as I know, part of the same set originally. But they belong together. Like Laverne and Shirley, like Laurel and Hardy, like the Master and Torgo, some thing just fit, you know?
Sadly, thrift shop cows live hard lives. They may keep their piggies, but that’s their last dignity. You can tell a thrift shop cow by her detachable head.
While I did think “oh, cow” when I first saw this, my first non-cow thought was, “didn’t I see something like this in Dungeons and Dragons? Back in high school, when anything that came with a block of statistics was just awesome, and you didn’t ask questions?” Yes, I think so. It was in that one book where headless cows overran the tiny village of Hommlet, stealing all the townspeople’s half-and-half. I don’t know what Gygax was smoking that day, but it probably had a really high saving throw modifier.
The noise it makes is…so sad. It’s kind of a “moooburble.” And then it walks into a wall.
